On May 28, 2003, Congressman Matheson held a town hall meeting in the Sandy Library. VFW color guards began the meeting with a presentation of the colors and the pledge of allegiance. Congressman Matheson then answered constituent questions concerning taxes, homeland security, education funding, health care reform, and transportation funding.
