Matheson receives Spirit of Enterprise' Award from U.S. Chamber of Commerce04/16/13
Washington D.C.- Congressman Jim Matheson received the U.S. Chamber ‘Spirit of Enterprise’ Award this morning in Washington, D.C. Matheson was honored for his support of business and pro-economic growth legislation during the second session of the 112th Congress.
“It is critical that we create an economic environment where businesses can grow and create jobs,” said Matheson. “This means lowering taxes, reducing spending and debt, and protecting businesses from overly burdensome regulations and red tape.”
The Chamber of Commerce is the world’s largest business federation, and represents the interests of more than 3 million businesses of all sizes, sectors and regions. This is the 25th year that the U.S. Chamber has formally honored the accomplishments of this select group of Members of Congress.
